can anyone identify this knife?

Found it in some old boxes that were in a basement for 25 years, only one logo on the case with a horse head that says China.

pics would help but is are by your description so far in figurin' it has no value beyond sentimental.

Can you see the picture I posted? It has a leather wrapped handle, blade says stainless China, and the logo on the leather holder is what looks like a horse head or some other animal, with China underneath it. It only interests me because I was told it was fairly old when it was put away 25 years ago, I'll try to get a close pic of the logo.
