Hello all --
My sisters roommate from Thailand left this knife behind and my sister turned it over to me.
The only clue I have is the word "SOLO" stamped on one of the blades.
It's a very solid-feeling slipjoint knife w/ 2 blades. It doesn't feel "cheap in any sense of the word - It could be custom or handmade but I'm not very familiar w/ the knife production process so I really can't be sure.
Regardless, the knife feels great & well balanced. There is no side to side give w/ the blades & they open & close w/ ease (after a little oiling).
The blades are both about 3 & 1/4" long - I have no idea about the blade material or what type of wood the handle scales are made of. I recently sharpened them on a Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker and noticed that they took a new edge fairly easily.
Any information about the maker/manufacturer or the knife itself would be of great help.
More pictures available upon request.
Thank you.
**Please note -- I have no intentions of selling the knife at this time - I'm only looking for information on it. **
