Looking for a nice looking gentleman's knife for less than $100. Recomendations anyone?

Not sure if you want a traditional lock back, but the Kershaw Gentleman's Folder is a great knife for about $70 US. The fit and finish rivals many customs: VG-10 blade, black micarta, brass liners. Locks up tight...

+1 on the Gentlemen's Folder, I handled one recently and was way impressed....
while not as "pretty" as the GF, the Fallkniven U2 is a good one for around $60 USD ...
the black quince Kopa from Spyderco can be had for about $100 USD or less.

If you want a modern style folder, the Benchmade 440 on top here is a good choice. If you like traditional, the Queen #26 at the bottom is a good choice.
The 440 will come in right at $100 with shipping, and the Queen will be half that.

Whenever anyone posts this question the fist folder that always pops to mind is the BenchMade HK14210. This is a wonderfully balanced little gents folding knife with everything going for it. Thick liners of stainless yet light in weight, G10 scales that look more like something done by hand like you'd see in a custom folder and the lock is stronger than most of the knives out there that are way bigger both in foot print, weight and length. It can be found for within your budget if you shop around. Mine cost me $106 but believe me its worth the 6 bucks or so more.

I suggest the Spyderco Caly 3. Arguably one of the best spydercos I've had. If you buy from savson swords and knives you can get it at about 98 dollars.

The spyderco centofonte 3 is my gentelman's knife of choice. Looks pretty classy, very smooth, but not too gentle for serious work. They're widley available for 40-50 lashes, so its a terrific bargain. Not as beautiful as that Benchmade though.

My gent's knife is the Spyderco CF ZDP-189 Caly 3. My vote goes to the G-10/VG10 Caly 3 or the Kopas (Black Quince or Evrina are in your price range)

Pretty much any old-fashioned slipjoint. You could also fish around in the Traditional Forum, the gent's knife is their M.O. over there. Happy hunting.

Mcusta.
Seki-Little blue liner lock.
If it doesn't have to be a folder--Benchmade 210TK Snody, Bark River Mikro 2.

The Kershaw and Queen are very pretty knives--shouldn't scare people too much.
That Benchmade is SWEET...but, the blade might look kinda..."threatening" to a lay-person.

I will be slightly different and recommend the Victorinox Alox Cadet. It is pretty (non-threatening in appearance), small and very useful. I have used mine at work, and the women (!) commented on how "pretty" it was.

And, the cost is about $20. You can buy five of them! ;o)

Check out the Nemesis Imps....they are really nice knives. I am hoping Santa brings me one this Christmas!

(I couldn't figure out how to post the pic...but the link is above)

VG-10 Blade, titanium liners, beautiful woods...I think they are really great looking gentlemen's knives.

I've been looking at some of the Queen's on a couple of sites, those look very nice indeed. The Case stag knives are also beautiful. Need to keep investigating, there is so much out there!
