I'm on the search for a folder that shares the same blade shape with the izula fixed blade. or a minimal drop point. I've seen the dpx knives and personally am not a fan.

preferably FFG but open to options. $200 budget blade size can vary (I like all sizes and will justify it's uses once I find it:D)

anything that you guys can think of?

thanks guys !!

Have a look at the Lionsteel SR2A. The blade profiles are similar even though the blade sizes will be a bit different. The aluminium version should be in your budget.

Ontario Rat Model 1 or 2. The 1 has a 3 5/8" blade while the 2 has a 3" blade. They were designed by the creators of the Izula so there's a family resemblance.

The RAT-1 or 2 are both pretty simple/minimal drop point blades and are FFG.

The ZT 0550, 0566, Knockout, and Piston have high flat grinds and have a basic drop point profile.

The Cryo, Vantages, and American Lawman are a few others, and those have a hollow grind.

Here's various ones next to my Izula II for comparison.

Left to right:
Izula II, Small Vantage Pro, Cryo, RAT-2, Large Vantage Pro, Cryo II, 0566, Knockout, 0550, American Lawman, Piston, RAT-1

Doesn't have as much belly as the Izula, but the Spyderco Techno comes to mind.
Spyderco Native 5(G-10 or FRN) would probably fit the bill.
