Can anyone suggest someone who would regrind a fixed blade for me ? I have one of those Boker copies of Bud Nealy's tantos. I like the knife, but as an EDC fixed blade I'd like a point with more utility (if you have seen the knife in person you know what I mean, as I'm not attacked by car hoods on a everday basis). So, what I'm thinking is to get someone to grind a swedge up top and grind a thinner tip. Any suggestion on who might do good work in a reasonable (less than 3 months) time frame and willing to take on a small project like this ? The steel is Boker's 440C so it should grind and polish up real nice.
BTW, the way that I have been carring this knife is pocket carry. The kydex sheath (sans attachments) fits flat in a pocket and comes out real fast. The pocket carry works great with these small fixed blades. I can see why the Black Jack Small with pocket shealth has been a hot seller ! That Black Jack small is also a great knife and another great alternative for EDC.
