Can anyone tell me about this Eickhorn knife?

I recently found this knife in my grandfather's belongings after his passing, although I believe it originally came into my family through my great grandfather. It says Eickhorn solingen on the blade. It's looks like a bayonet to me, also we are a family of widdlers so it wouldn't surprise me if the handle is homemade.

What does it say in English on the blade?

"Original" is engraved above the logo, I don't know if original is both a German and English word. Ultimately I'd like to believe this knife didn't belong to the Nazi's, and was something eickhorn exported. If it is a German WW2 blade at least I can take comfort in knowing it came from dead Nazi.

Thanks for the help y'all!

I'm not sure why they had "original" included in the stamp, but it is a known Eickhorn stamp from the mid 30's through very early 40's. One thought is perhaps it was simply a standardization across the board so that it could be used on both foreign contracts and domestic products, but that's just a guess.

Edit - The word "Original" seems to translate the same or at least be acceptable across both languages, so it would be fine on a German knife made for domestic buyers.
