Just acquired this awesome CRK one piece, but I don't know what model or how old it is as the previous owner no longer had the birth certificate. Anyone have any insite to share? I believe it is pre 1990 as it has a hexagonal end cap but that's all I know.

There is the number 46 to the right of the CRK logo which is barely visible in the photo.

CRK One Piece Project I with a 7.5" Blade made from A2 Steel. Great Knife. Since it has the hex cap, this is one of the first ones CRK made when moving from SA to the US. They had some hex caps left over and used them up before switching to the round end caps.

The sheath is the older version which features a plastic retaining button that can be moved to the left or the right of the knife. The button keeps the knife retained in the sheath.
