can anyone tell me what they think of this deal?

I had a friend offer to sell me a Kershaw blackout in really good condition and a SOG twitch 2 with a broken safety for $50. Im assuming that since the Sog is tip up, the safety wouldnt matter because the blade would push against the back of my pocket, preventing it from opening? What do you guys think of this? Should I go for it?

look at the kershguy blemish knife thread. he sells blackouts for $25. you can get one of those as well as another kershaw for $50.
