Just a thought that since the regular has been discontinued years ago, what if you snap a blade from a regular, can Chris offer a new replacement blade?
Anyone knows?

I have contacted CRK about getting a re-blade on a small Reg and they said they have very few left for warranty purposes and that was a year or so ago. They said they would not sell me a replacement blade "just because", but if I had a legitimate warranty issue they would do their best to accommodate.

I do know that they did do some reblades a while back on some Regulars. I think they were trying to get rid of some of the regular profile blades, from the Annuals. I would almost bet that he still has a few left for warranty repairs. Best bet would be to make the call.

While this thread is up, can any one tell me if they sell the large 21 blade. I looked and could not find the price. Although I thought I saw it somewhere. And will they just send it out. I would hope so.

I believe it is $135 for a new blade and I'm pretty sure you have to send in the scales so the blade can be fitted. They tune the lockup.

Had one done last year.

*edit - the blade replaced was for a small regular that was worn out

I went to the CRK web site and printed" Sending your knife to Chris Reeve Knives" and the price for a 21 blade is 135.00. In a email I got from them, it stated I had to send the knife in, they would not ship parts out. The web site I have is www.chrisreeve.com/pricelist.hmt

That is nice to know that Chris still have replacement blades for warranty purposes. I can understand that supporting a re-blade is not possible given the time frame since discontinuing the regular.

Ok I'm confused. CRK's have a lifetime warranty correct? The blades are CNC cut so in theory it should only be a button press away for a new blade regardless of how old the knife is or if they have any remaining in stock. The second part of their warranty states that if it can't be repaired it will be replaced, so am I to assume that if the need would arise to have my small regular rebladed in the future and none were left in stock that I would receive an entirely new knife?
I like CRK's products, own a TI-lock, an umnumzaan, & a sebenza. When I purchased my sebenza I had the choice of the 21 pattern or the regular as both were in production, after handling them both I chose the regular for its feel and better purchase due to the finger ridges. Their newest designs no longer appeal to me. Wish they still produced the regular.
