I met Mr. Reeve today at the ECCK, and asked if computer graphic could be added to my small Sebenza. I did tell him that I bought it on the aftermarket. He didn't seem to like that. He then informed me that "for a number of reasons, no." Anyone else have this experience? I have heard of graphics being added in the past. Did they stop? Or was someone mistaken?

I have had a Silver Contrast Graphic added to a plain Sebenza, but I don't think they ever were able to change a standard into a full polished and anodized decorated model.

A full blown graphic has not been offered as STJAMES said- A REPLACEMENT SLAB may be purchased new that can be used on an existing production knife. That has always been to the best of my knowledge. I believe it is something to do with the polishing of the scale will change the dimentions and result in a less than perfect dimention and CRK will not do that. As far as Chris not being happy about a secondary sale, I think you might have read him wrong- he has serviced myself and my customers rather well even if he did not sell to them or me direct. Shows can be distracting! I know for I have worked them with Chris and sometimes your mind can be a thousand miles away dealing with something else.... not that anyone is/was trying to be aloof but it can happen especially at the shows when there is work (and family) at home....

Well, thanks for the feedback! Actually, I think you're correct on both counts! He didn't elaborate on the the reasons "why" and I think "distracted" is probably the best way to phrase his demeanor. I know he's been getting over the "flu". Whatever "flu" it was, and I think he was solo at the show, which really is a royal pain!
