Ray, if you use your Media Gallery there is an option to select who can view your photos. (Everybody, Members Only, Owner Only, People You Follow, etc)

I'll add that I have sent a couple non members to Bladeforums because I wanted them to see a post related to something we were discussing. They both commented that they could see the thumbnail photos but they could not enlarge them.
