Can/How do I polish carbon fiber scales?

Recently took delivery of a nib Cat CF. The scale on the non-clip side are, uh, dull. It doesn't really look used or scuffed but like a layer can be polished and be outstanding. Any suggestions on how to get it there?

Have never done CF myself, but since the resin is a a hard, clear, plastic I suspect you could polish it with the stuff sold to restore automobile headlights.

Guys, has anyone tried Flitz on non texture CF scales like the Calys have?

Brasso(sp? the stuff for military belt buckles) works great on polymer watch faces if you are looking for a mirror polish
