I was wondering if I could Bring my Buck 110 with me when I travel. If I don't have it in carry on luggage and say that I have a "weapon" can I legally bring that knife with me. Plus do the rules change if if flying and staying in the U.S.A or if i'm flying to another country. thanks guys.

I'd have to say you can, but maybe someone that knows for sure will chime in. I've flown plenty of times since 9/11 with a large folder in my checked luggage (along with a razor for shaving, bottle of scotch, and other personal items that are no go for carry-on). I've never declared it. They haven't flagged me yet.

where do you fly. I usually fly from ny. do you think the rules would be more strict in the ny area?

To be honest, I've flown into/out of Kennedy, O'hare, Toronto (Mississauga) and then to Nova Scotia. Mostly out of Rochester and Buffalo, NY. TSA rules should be pretty standard in any US international airport, but I've been wrong before...
