Can I cancel an order?

Let's say I purchase one of the Wednesday offerings, and I see a blade I want more the following week or two. Can I cancel the first order?
 
You could, but you have to offer up "dibs" here first
 
I'd talk to the ladies at the shop. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem but I wouldn't make it a normal practice.

I'd consider it bad form; but things happen. Of course, if you get blacklisted, it's less competition for the rest of us.
What are you bailing on?
 
I'm sure that it happens all the time. And there is typically a wait list on some offers, so when folks have to bail, another piglet gets lucky.
 
I was thinking of buying an AK, but i am hoping for a Gladius BG to pop up. I like both, but can only afford one right now.
 
buy the ak. if the gladius comes up, put the ak on the exchange.
 
The ak is here now. Just because there is a thread about people wanting a Gladius doesn't mean it will happen. Look how long people have been asking for a basic 13, kukri, bolo, 7.62, etc. It's certainly possible, but Jerry hasn't given us any impression that it will happen. And you can always sell the AK.
 
Bird in the hand = sure thing (BGAK you can totally buy right now dirt cheap on the website). 2 in the bush = greener grass on the other side of the fence i.e. $300 Long Gladius, INFI Light Sabre, or whatever else you might want to hold out for that prolly wont happen. You let go your bird-in-hand and grab for 2 birds in the bush and they all fly away. You're left with that sheet metal wal mart machete.
 
but what if the 2 birds in the bush are really slow and can't fly away? do you let the finch go , and chase after the 2 giant wild turkeys.. these older saying never make sense >_<
 
Unfortunately, while TheRealMrJones was kindly contextualizing my comment, all I read was Infi Lightsaber!, and now I can't get that out of my head. Thanks man. Bird analogies. Bush comments. Counting Crows references. I def had too much to drink at karaoke tonight.

More seriously, I really tried to avoid the BG's. Logic being that there are so many great designs already in sr101. Then the AK came up and all logic went out the window.

Anyway, sorry to hijack the OP. I'm sure it will work out. Crash time.
 
Stick with the AK, if they make a battle grade gladius as being requested it'll probably take a long time. People have been trying to get a Bolo 13 made for a a long time now .
 
Get the ak. If they make a bg gladius I will buy the ak for what you paid for it. I want to buy 2 but Christmas and pay cut have me hitting the brake. 1 will be ok. I got a b10 for close work or nmsfno or tglb or.......... I will be ok lol
 
Keep the AK order...it will be some time before it gets billed anyway. Keep saving. If a BG gladius does happen, you'll have the money by the time it is ready. As long as nothing else catches your eye in the meantime.
