Can I carry a Balisong trainer?

After some searching on the interweb, I have been unable to find the legality of me carrying a balisong trainer with me for stress relief and practice. In Colorado, or the US in general, am I able to carry one with me at all? (In my pocket, car, hiking, etc...) I know balisongs are illegal for me to carry but trainers have neither an edge nor a point. Can anyone help me?

Seems like it shouldn't be a problem, it's not bladed although you'll still draw a lot of attention to yourself. The safest thing to do is contact one of your local police departments to double check.

Well, I just e-mailed the DA because I do not trust the word of a common police officer. looks like i will find out....thank you

You could always just get an SOG Powerlock. Totally legal, and much more useful.

Yes you can. I live in CO as well and It is fine. Trainers have no blade so it is not a knife
