Can I change the wheel on my Coote?

I bought a Coote and have a lot of fun trying my hand at this knife making. You guys talked me into hollow grinding and I like the results. However, the 8 inch contact wheel I think is too small for the blades I want to make.
Can I change out the wheel?

I sure you can change the wheel on your coote. Try Rob Frink I sure he has a replacement wheel in the larger size.

Mr Coote told me that changing wheel diameters involve some re-configuration and some loss of function, because each machine has different side frame components to accommodate the particular wheel size. You might ought to contact him at. coote@olypen.com and see what he suggests.
