Can I create my perfect SAK?

My ideal SAk would be a Vic Nomad with a one hand opening blade and a deep pocket clip.

Are the onehanded blades from a Trekker or Soldier able to be swapped into the Nomad? I don't want to by both only to find they are incompatible.

And the only nice clips I have seen are the ones installed by Scibeer on Alox models like the ones in post #13 of this thread

and Scibeers website (knifemods.com I think) seems to be down. Does anyone know if you can install those types of clips on the standard scale knives?

Thanks for any and all help!

Both Trekker and Nomad are liner locks, so all the pins are same size, and swapping bladed should not be a problem. That said, the easiest way to get what you want is to buy OH Fireman and remove the woodsaw and belt cutter. This "layer removal mod" allows you to re-use the original pins.

I thought of that and it would certainly be easier...but, I don't think the Fireman came with a non-serrated blade which is also a component of my 'perfect' SAK. So...I would need to get a NS Trekker and swap the blade into a Nomad...or...maybe I could get a NS Trekker and take the saw out and swap in a corkscrew. Hmmm, is the corkscrew the same size in the larger knives as in the standard SAK's?

Now I just need to figure out a clip :(
