Can I get new clips?

I just got a Mini Dyad with Micarta scales in a trade. The clip on it is badly worn and a great deal of the black coating is worn off making it look like crap. Beside that, the knife is nearly mint conditon! Looks like it was worn a lot but never used. It could pass for a neat little "gentleman's" knife but for the nasty-looking clip.

Can I get a new clip for it somewhere?
Can I order new clips from Spyderco?
If I bring it when I go to their factory sale in Golden can they replace the clip for me?

I'd pay for it. No big deal. I'd just like to have a new clip for it.
 
Chances are you'll have to send it in for repair/reconditioning. Some people have finangled clips, but it's not a general practice for Spyderco folks to just send them out. Or so I hear.
 
Well, just in my own experience, I've called up Spyderco Factory Outlet in the past and simply ordered clips. I forget how much they cost but it was minimal. They come in these neat, tiny little tubes with screws included. I didn't have to send in my Spydies. I just told them which models I wanted the clips for. YMMV

That jewel place looks cool! I'm going to have to think of getting a knife just for the purpose of sending to them.

I suppose I'll just inquire at SC when I go to their sale about the clips. Thanks all!
