Can I go from the 3000 grit edge pro polishing tape to a dmt 6 micron diamond paste on a leather strop and then back to the edge pro 6000 tapes?

Why the strop between the tapes???? The 6k tape can leave a scratch free polish and is the proper next step after their 3k tape. If you want to strop do it after you are done with the ridged sharpening mediums.
