Can I still order from HI?

I realise that with Uncle Bill's passing that there may come a day when HI is no longer available - a scary thought I am sure.

I thought I'd better get the 18" Sirupati with wood handles that I always wanted... so is HI still taking orders?

Yangdu is trying to carry on. She will be around this week, and will be checking the email orders. Don't know if they will all get taken care of but you can email her with your order and see what she says. Otherwise things will continue around the middle of May as well as they can. Yangdu does want to continue the business to help the kamis and the kids.

I agree with Gin that you should still place your order. I lusted after one of the 9 inch Baby Chitlangi, but was just a might slow on getting my order off with all the sharks in the water. I finally sent an email to Yangdu, and she sent me my own little "Baby", which I got today.

One thing I would suggest is making payment via PayPal - just so the money gets to her in a timely fashion.

I'm pretty sure there'll always be a HI... but business is going to be slow for a while...

Rene, glad you got a baby chitlangi- they're little gems! I did take metal sandpaper to the sharp handle corners, but now it's perfect. Needs/will get a custom sheath.

Thought I was the only one who appreciated it- my thread sank like a rock.
