It says on website pre order only. I wonder how long do you think it will be before the 12's are done and how long
before the 10's are done if you had to guess? I was going to wait for a 10 but I know I should get the 12 first if
the 10 is going to be awhile?

Which pages were you looking at? If you look at each knife page it says the 12 is in production (ordering closed) and the 10 is available for preorder. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket and you want to lock in an order today, then preorder a 10. If you want a knife sooner than later, wait for Monday sales of the 12.

Guessing on dates can be a slippery slope. If you look at the order of models and figure each model will take a few months, it will give you a guess. We know nothing is set in stone and that the team is busting balls to get these out to us.

the 12 says in production then if you click on it, it says in production Available now for Pre-Order only!
So when you say a few months for each one. That means like 21 months till the 12s are for sale or a few months?

On the 10:

No one knows. The webpage says once a model goes in production it can be up to 8 months, and the 10 has not gone in to production yet. So it would be easy to say 1 year. Maybe more, maybe less. No one knows, so no one can tell you. I have one on order and I am hoping to get it for camping season 2017.

On the 12:

I think Ellie forgot to change the status is all, if you try and order one, it won't work.

If you want something ASAP and it has to be one of these two, wait for a Monday sale for seconds on the 12.

Ok, I see what you see now. I think that yellow bar with the "preorder" was just left up by mistake. That's my guess. My other clue is that it says "combination unavailable" before you even select anything and there is no option to add to cart, only add to wishlist.

I wish there was a better answer for the wait. Each model will take a different amount of time maybe some shorter and some longer, going off of the 5.1 and 4.7 they're upwards of 6 months each.

Ok Thanks SN. Ill order the 12 soon as they become available and Ill try and save up for the 10 down the road.

That yellow box is a check box option, meaning I have no control over the text of it. I am torn about whether to leave it up or not. It can be misleading to leave it up, but occasionally I will process a refund and forget to go back in and update the inventory. Someone can then place an order and may not realize that the knife isn't in stock and ready to go.

The wording in the description should have been changed, but it got past me somehow. I went in and updated it right now.

I would like to make two suggestions for your consideradtion, if I may:

1- in the yellow box, you can simply change the word "is" to "was"

2- integrate the cancelled orders of any said GSO model in one of your Monday sales. Even if you do so once per month or even bi monthly after you tally up those limited cancellations, you will replace those refunds faster.
