Financial Times is objective, but their focus is as narrow as the their readership, the have-mores and the have-alls: stock market and real estate, and why they haven't fallen off the cliff yet. In case you haven't been keeping up with current events, -25% YTD is considered sparkling performance. The "cement and hydro-power" Mr. Chaudhary promotes is the Koshi River high dam, which might not be such a good idea (http://www.kantipuronline.com/interview.php?&nid=159078) and might not get started anytime soon.

Pretty much the PRC's reply to Financial Times. There is a bad typo in the second paragraph: "sharp depreciation of U.S. dollar" should be "sharp appreciation." ""Given the impending recession in the leading bilateral donor countries, grant assistance to Nepal could also be affected" is about the Koshi high dam, supposed to be India-funded.

Typically, both sides abstract Nepali finance from actual living Nepali people. This one (not flawless) does a little better:
