This isn't all of them, but can one own too many of these?

Nah, there are so many models it makes it fun to collect. plus they are relatively inexpensive compared to some other knives people collect.

I only see one alox SAK in the picture above. That makes this is a deficient collection and more are needed.

I don't know if you can own too many, but you might as well try. It looks like you are off to a fairly decent start, so you can't stop now.

You do need some more Alox, though. So do I, to be honest.

I think you can have too much of anything, after a point.

I found out that I apreatiated my knives more after I had a huge downsizing. I carried the ones that I had left, more. With less knives in the rotation, I got more use out of the few left, and got more familiar with what I had. This went for guns, knives, tools, vehicles. And yes, even my sak's. I went from just over a dozen sak's to just five.

Carl.

nop... its so fun and much cheaper than guns or womens!

like you, sadly these are not all at all...

I'm with Carl on this one. I tried "collecting" Pioneers once and had quite a few but it was always in the back of my mind the money spent on them just for them to sit in a box. I need to have a specific "use" for a knife to buy one now. Maybe I'm just not making enough money yet.

whatever happens; i just hope the future generations would see better utilization of my least used saks.

Too many? For collectors, no. For obsessive accumulators (a different animal), maybe. If it puts a strain on household finances, definitely. For users, there can be too many. A sure indication of that is when every day you have to spend more than 10 seconds to decide which one to pocket.

I own 10 Vic SAKs,and the only one I have a duplicate of is the Alox Soldier,in case I lose it.Plus,Victorinox no longer makes them,so it can't easily be replaced. But yeah,I understand the love.

Bite your tongue - there is no such thing as "too many" for a knife collector.

I want them all!!!:D
