Going by the rivits and the clip punched out of the scales, I'd say that is the Pre-Standard "Economy". Can't give you much more on it though.

It probably is a Standard but the blade shape would confirm it. Can you post a picture with the blade opened?

Point one, it looks like a Standard to me. Point two, as you know value is a subjective matter when it comes to a knife. The Standard has been discontinued for some time so that may make it more desirable to a buyer. However, your particular knife appears to have some wear on the blade and the scales look scratched. I picked up a few NIB discontinued Spydies such as two Rookies and a Michael Walker at two recent knife shows and they all went for around $40.00 or $50.00. Given it's appearance yours would probably fall in that range as well.

Introduced in 1984, this lower end model, dubbed the Economy, made with 440 stainless was retailing for $20- $25. According to Sal G., this was Spydercos own knockoff model, knowing that most of their other clip-its were soon to be "knocked" by other companies! They should have called it the model "Pre Emptive"! :)
