It sure looks like this knife, it would look to be a variant made from a SHE blank. This is called a Tanto Variant.

Plenty of knives from that time period were modified,there are a number of knives that were after market modified, check with Jerry to see if it is one of His.

It is of the same style as the SH-e Variants that Jerry was making in 2002, I think we started seeing the first of them at one of the INDY 1500 shows. I have several from this time period and most of them have the same style of handle and the same or similar butt grind. I have to admit I've never seen this one and I'd be interested in seeing it in person
