Can somebody show me a RMD w/ Desert blade & black micarta?...

The title explains it, I just ordered a RMD in that combo and after seeing some pics of other combos I am debating that choice a bit, but I can't find a pic of one in that combo to help my decision so if anyone out there has one can you please post a pic for me. I think its gonna look cool but I'm leaning on Blk micarta with a tanker blade too and need to make up my mind so I can contact them if need be. I just don't want to waste a ton of time trolling for a pic of my combo choice cuz I placed the order Friday night and I figure if I make a change before the week get going it shouldn't be a big issue. I appreciate any help. Thanks
 
This picture belongs to forum member Hard Knocks. It shows some of the color variation in the canvas Micarta. I believe these knives are all desert sage on black canvas:

 
See now looking at these next to the finish options on SR's site, this color appears more like tanker grey:confused:
 
Hey cool, there's some of my knives. Yes, those are black canvas and desert sage. However, I don't like the tint in that picture as it's too blue, but not really sure how to fix it. Check out this one, it's the same HRLM in it, and this is much closer to true color on the desert sage:

See now this last one looks like the sample on SR site, the others still look quite gray to me though. But their black micarta sure seems to vary in color quite a bit too. I like it when it has a bit of beige in it like the one pictured with the antle. This will be my first SR knife, I have only owned one Kin blade before which was a Scrap Yard dumpster mutt, which was a pretty dang nice blade, I have yet to even hold a Busse...yeah I know you're thinking:eek: but outside of the basic line I actually only like a couple of his models and I know some would assassinate me for that blasphemy but many of them are wild looking and I like real simple designs like Beckers or SYKOs. And the two Busses I love, which are the Battle Mistress(BWBM&NMFBM) and Steel Heart(ASH, FSH, SHSH,HOGFSH,and the orig) are always so far out of my price range that unless I literally win a small lotto I will never be able to afford one. I do also like the Boss Jack, Badger Attack, Satin Jack Tac. I may someday be able to buy one of these latter three, or one of the main two if I can find one that beat to hell, lol. The team gemin aint bad either but I'm not big on double guards.

However, I would give a limb to own something like this...

The one with the antler is the typical Swamp black canvas, his other one is a custom shop RMD with a drop point and black G10.

BTW I agree with you completely as I much prefer the designs out of the Swamp to those out of the Busse shop. The only recent knife I really like out of the Busse shop is the NMSFNO, other than that I haven't really liked any since the Ergo series. Also you should never feel under knifed with a Swamp blade, I would put them up against a Busse any day of the week.
 
My rodent 6 has black micarta that rodan' look very black to me.... More green/grey which I don't mind as it looks nice with the black blade finish.... Especially now with some wear on the blade.
