I talked with someone at busse a few years ago when the short sword came out. I asked about creating a sword to my specs and was quoted a round about price. I would like to speak with someone at busse once again to get the ball rolling on a blade I would like to bring to life. Thanks for any and all feedback on this one ya'll.

You should know now that custom swords run $100/inch of overall length and take about two years to fill the order. If you are willing to be flexible in your design and specs, perhaps the lead time could be shortened...but give me a call to talk about it.

Thanks for the reply. That is what they told me a few years back. Is that an estimate if I want the sword made from INFI? I have a handmade japanese sword that intend to sell to have this one made. Is there anyway the two year wait can be shortened. I would like to be as giving as possible to make everything smoother but the shape and design I have in mind are really all the things I feel (my) sword should be for me. Also, does the thickness of the blade make a difference in price or is the price just for shaping one bar of a particular size. Let me know when are the best times to call your number and I will talk to you tomorrow ( the 26th) unless there is still time to call you this evening.
