Got an unissued alice pack with frame for 24$

IIRC, it's pretty easy to attach a MOLLE waist pad to the ALICE frame, and it's a much thicker, comfy-er bag. I think they are still cheap on eBay, too.

I have a Medium Alice pack and just bought a Blackhawk Ruck that comes with and uses the same frame. Alice packs sure are nice, specially when you have the frame to go with them. Can't hardly wait for the Ruck to arive.
Planning on using the Ruck with frame for long trips and the Medium Alice with the frame for short trips. Both will work with my LBE which is part of the reason I went with the setup I did.
