Can someone help real quick BK2, BK10 question.

I'm about to order a bk10 and was thinking about getting a poly sheath for the BK2. Then I wondered if the 2 would fit in the BK10 sheath.

If it does I may get a set of micarta instead.

I don't think it does, since the 2 is thicker than the 10. There were pics here somewhere of someone trying that...

Mine does. The plastic insert is plenty big. The retention straps were a little tight but not that bad.
I think it might be the same sheath.

Maybe someone who has both can tell us.
But I know for sure my bk2 fits in my bk10 sheath.

I 2nd what Dex said. From what I understand, they are the same sheath.

My BK10 retention straps were not big enough to fit around the BK2 handles. However the sheath for my Ontario SP46 (and others in the SP gen II line) have adjustable straps. I did a writeup about modding the Ontario sheath to work with the beckers and my condor rodan but the board has been having issues and not letting me post new threads.

Just took some quick pics of my BK-2 in my BK-10 sheath. Straps were a little tight but I have had new BK-16 sheaths that were just as tight until they broke in.
Im going to leave it overnight and see how much it loosens up.

I fit in in both ways cause I know sometimes it is tighter one way or the other depending on how it is sown.

That a is with the micarta and I think the micarta is a tiny bit larger than the grivory if im not mistaken.

what about the new Bk22 sheath, Idk if it's the same or not but my heart kinda tells me it is since they just so happened to release both new products at the same time.

Just an update, I left it in the sheath over night and by today it broke in just enough so I could snap retention straps easily.
