can someone identify this knife?

this is a knife i restored. it was my grandpas back when my mom was a kid. the details on the knife are:
handle- narrow tang, layered leather handle with red and white plastic discs for color, brass nut, german nickel silver butt and hilt
blade- solingen germany steel, no markings at all.

i know there is someone out there who knows about what year this knife was amde. my guess is that it was made sometime after WWII. my mom was born in feb of 58. my grandpa used this knife for hunting.
 
hard to see.. but looks like it was patterned after an old Marbles 7" or 8" ideal.

Can't really tell from the photos, but it looks like one of the myriad of German made hunting knives that were popular in the 50's, 60's and 70's. There are sometimes dozens of them on eBay at the same time. They sell for anywhere from around $20.00 to about $50.00.
 
i think my grandpa said he bought it from sears or something but i cant remember. but i do know that it is also a clip blade. what are some characteristics that i should look for to determine who made it?
