I'm trying to identify this knife for a friend in an email he wrote:

"Its a 4.5" clip point blade and measures 9.25" overall. The blade doesn't match any of the profiles exactly. This blade has a higher hollow grind than the clip point in the diagram. There are seven holes on each side of each handle. Between each large hole are two horizontal small holes. The butterfly at the bottom of the blade is inverted when held by the handles - blade out. On the other side it says "Bali-Song" - and "U.S.A." under it. Everything is a high grade stainless steel. The leather case has a large snap on the front and a butterfly indented into the leather."

It sounds like an Imada high hollow. I don't know how to go about telling the difference between Balisong Cutlery, Pacific Cutlery, or Benchmade.

He did say he bought it about 20 years ago.
