It must be the steel that costs so much $. Anyone have blades in it and can comment on its edge retention, etc?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
For that price, those scales better be pre-ban ivory, and the shield and guard better be gold.
Even then, I think the price would be a bit steep. For that price, those scales better be pre-ban ivory, and the shield and guard better be gold.

Maybe if someone made a folder with Sebenza level of tight tolerances and something like S150V in third generation PM steel, that might be worth it. Oh, and there would also need to be a few gemstone inlays in the handle and thumbstud:thumbup:.
I couldn't justify that price for a factory knife.
