I'm hoping to have a new sheath made for my Doug Ritter from someone on this forum. I like the work of CKS/Kiah, but others have nice sheaths too. I partly mention Kiah because I saw he used Kydex and Nylon on his Axe sheath.

A Fold Over Kydex model with an attachable Mini Tek-Lok. A kydex sheath that doesn't rely on form fitting snugness to keep the knife in the sheath, but instead has a Snapping Loop like the Fallkniven F1's sheath and a Nylon Belt Loop like the F1's. Plus a removeable Mini Tek Lok it would allow me to wear it either horizontally or use the belt loop for lower hanging.

It would be perferrable if I could attach or remove the Tek Lok as I want.

Below are pictures of the Fallkniven sheath who's design I like. Except it would be nice to have the ability to attach a Mini Tek Loc too.

Color: Black with Black Nylon, what other choices do you offer?

okay I can't just paste a picture here...maybe if I shrink them...... I'll be back.

Something like this would be nice except with a mini tek lok:

Thanks for your patience.

Well I decide to make my own sheath. A kydex one with a fire steel loop.

I'm very pleased with the sheath. It turned out better than I expected.

I'd show pictures but I don't have a flicker account. I can email the pictures if someone wants to post them?

Cheers.

good morning guys,

Just want to say thank you very much Marion for posting the pictures. And thank you too Kiah for the offer.

Since I took the pictures I changed the fire steel loop to a more conventional position. Instead of perpendicular to the blade it is now parrelle on the side of the sheath. Like most other sheaths with a fire steel loop. This way I could use two screws to attach the loop.

Great job!:) Now I'm so tempted to get the Ritter. Guess I would have to make sure you would be able to make another one of these first :)
