Can someone please help identify this axe head

Hi,

I have a very small axe, it was in pretty bad shape and the poll/butt is cracked. i have cleaned the rust off and will repair the poll/butt. can anyone help to identify what it is?

it is very small and has a number 5 on it (that is the only marking)

It's a German Rheinland pattern, as for the maker without a makers mark it's up to speculation.
The 5 being on a small hatchet and not weight, could be a variety of things.
Most likely an indicator of some kind for the manufacturer, which die was used, which factory it was made at, again up for speculation.
