You upload them to an image hosting site, like postimg.cc and paste the link in your post using the small image icon in the edit window.

This is not a photo of a knife. If you've figured out how to add a photo, the only type of photo we want to see is a photo of a knife. It would be more appropriate to use applications such as Instagram etc. for your personal photos (except for photos taken with a knife, of course).If you're not going to do that, you're in the wrong place. This thread is to discuss knives in general.
