Crap. Lol thank you SO much though. It was driving me crazy. That is a hollow grind
What's wrong with a hollow grind? It’s driving me crazy. I’m worried that after the bump it tapers down to a hollow grind?
I feel like this knife would suffer the same as this explorer reviewed here, with the shallow hollow grind it would be a master of nothing, no?What's wrong with a hollow grind?
Well he did support his opinion with demonstration. What in the world do you think a knife with that size and grind would be used for then? Cutting up your carrots?"I'm a Moron. I Used The Wrong Tool And Broke/Damaged It." would be a much more accurate a title than "The Wrong Grind."
Those making that video don't have a clue, and possess zero credibility. Rather than place the blame on themselves, where it belongs for a lack of knowledge, and skill, and for using the wrong tool, they place the blame on the tool.
Try following the ancient pre-historic adage "Use The Right Tool For The Job"
There are plenty of tasks out in the wild where a knife is the proper tool. However; Felling a tree, and/or processing firewood are not among them.
Also, he didn’t break anything. And the knifes stability has zero to do with why he thinks it has the wrong grind. I think as dumb as the people who you claim to quote, are those who mock and judge a video or article without reading or watching it."I'm a Moron. I Used The Wrong Tool And Broke/Damaged It." would be a much more accurate a title than "The Wrong Grind."
