Can someone recommend a heat treat for cpm m4?

I’m making my sons mom a birthday present out of m4. I’ve used it once like 5 years ago. But I can’t remember how I heat treated it! I’m using cryo and low temper, but what austenizing temperature should I use? 2100 for 30 minute soak?

I have been using a 2025 F oven for 20 minute soak and 350 F temper for 63.5 Rc. Cryo of course.

Sweet, thank you. I’m sure I used a higher aus temp, but I really can’t remember!!

I have used higher austenetizing temperatures myself for M4 but last year I was heat treating S45VN and decided to see how M4 would do with a low temper treatment and threw a couple blanks in the batch. I was happy with the results.

I think I’ll try 2050, 30 minute soak, plate quench, cryo and triple tempered at 400. That should put me around 63 rc. If I tried 2025, I’d soak a little longer. I may have enough for two knives and two different heat treats
