alright i need someone to recommend me a good cigar that isnt super expensive and is pretty readily available. ive heard good things about macanudo's...and suggestions or comments? thanks a lot

Macanudo's are excellent, try a Prince Philip.
I had an Ashton Sovereign a few days ago, real good smoke.

Smoking like drinking is an individual thing, some like scotch and some don't, if you know what I mean.

Really depends on your tastes..help us out a bit here.

Do you prefer a peppery or a mild smoke?
Do you a preferred a larger stick like a Churchill or something smaller?

CAO makes makes some great cigars in the $6 - $12 range. The Cameroon Anniversary is excellent mild stick and comes in various sizes. They also make a CX2 which is a personal favorite. Long lasting, mild smoke that leaves you wanting another one later. :D

Romeo Y Julieta is also a good value stick. I prefer the Real Reserve line in various sizes. $5 - $9 at your local B&M and cheaper online.

If you are looking for a good cheap cigar to mowthe yard or just kicking around try the Torrano Brick. $2-$3 readily available and worth it.

You will get lots of high end suggestions as we get pretty excited when someone raises the question. A price range of what you are looking for would also help.

+1 on the Macanudos. I don't smoke cigars that often (anymore- I worked in a smoke shop in college) but Macs are my go-tos when I want a cigar.

to clear anything up i probablly wouldnt want to spend anymore than say...12 dollars a cig. and i prefer i mild smoke to a peppery one. for the size, im not really all that picky

My Smoke shop asked if I drink my coffee black or w/cream and sugar. I use the cream and sugar so he handed me a Padron. I smoked them ever since.

Until I quit a few years ago(was smoking a pack of ciggs a day and a few cigars a week). I didn't want to quit but I found out how expensive life insurance was as a smoker. I still have one in the fridge just to tempt my resolve.

I like the Rocky Patel cigars. They have a nice taste, not overpowering and a good burn to them. Here is a link the a 6 pack sampler for around 5/6 bucks each http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/search/stats.cfm/inum/25563

This would be a good way to try a few, well within your price range.

The Arturo Fuente Hemmingway Signatures are a good smoke. I also would recommend a Carlos Toscano slight chocolate aftertaste to me, very good smoke reasonably priced at around 7 bucks. Good luck!

I also like most of the Fuente's but the robustos cool the smoke slightly more thus revealing more of the lighter tastes. Cuban Montecristos are also real good if you can get them.

At the higher end of your price limit at around 12 bucks Davidoff's are relatively okay-mild. I never really got hit by the Davidoff cigars but they are kinda like a status thing if you pull one out to smoke in my opinion.
