Can someone suggest a carry solution?

I can't figure out how I am supposed to carry my AA. The kydex sheath that came with it has a teklock but it is placed so low that the handle comes up to my ribs. I want to carry it around my leg (with the handle at my waist) but don't want to buy a new sheath. Do you guys know of some way to pull this off securely? I was thinking of getting an elastic band and just wrapping it around the handle and my leg but that wont be secure.

Perhaps the sheath makers of this community are able to customize the existing sheath for less than what a new sheath would cost?

Maybe get you some surplus web strapping and stitch/rivet up something improvised?

Velcro comes to mind. Cut it to size and wrap it around.

Personally, I wouldnt try this as a do it yourself project. Send it to a plastic bender that also specializes in nylon webbing. Now, that said, I'm not sure if a drop leg attachment can be fixed to an existing sheath. Theres a few kydex folks that make these rigs and I'd ask them what can be done, the first that come to mind are Okuden and Progunner. They'd be able to give you some good advice reguarding your needs.
