Can someone tell me a little bit about this hinderer?

It's common practice for out of stock items to be listed at MSRP or above that in which were listed when they were in stock.

It protects future interests. Keeps prices higher and the market stronger.

It's also one of the reasons why some dont post prices after a sale is complete here on BF.
 
It could also be a leftover from when Hinderers were rare, with high secondary market prices. They could have set the price higher than MSRP to try and match some of the secondary market prices that Hinderers went for a few years ago.
