Can someone tell me more about this Kukri?

This was found about 13 years ago, in a parking garage in an abandoned building.

The large blade was in a black leather sheath, but there were no other "smaller" blades in the sheath (I forget the names of those). The handle of the larger one appears to be bone or possibly ivory. It seems very solid (no shifting in the handle or hardware), and it has no visible markings or identification. It was found with this smaller "ebony" handled blade, that also seems to be well made, but was obviously abused. I don't have a proper scale, so I can't tell you the weight.

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone might have some clues to it's origin, age, rarity?

That's fine... I'd be happy if I could just figure out how to post pictures... it seems buggy.
