Can someone tell me what primitive bone?

There was a limited supply, the scales themselves looked really different from each other-as in Stag or Ram's Horn and there were some fine examples. I bought a 26 in it in 2012, very much liked the scales but the knife was very tough to open 9,8 pull:eek: and I traded it for an SFO 14.

Well worth getting hold of if you can.

The real question is how did they not know the bones were there, until basically the day before the party? And how did the cows die? It’s all very X-files, or maybe a basis for a Stephen King novel.
I know your comment was a bit tongue and cheek, but growing up around livestock farming I've found numerous of these places. I've actually helped haul a few carcasses to such "grave yards". Damndest thing about cows, sometimes despite your best efforts one will just up and die on you. Usually by the time you find the dead bovine it isn't like you want to make hamburger outta it. So there is usually a place way out on the back 40 secluded and down wind of the house (hopefully) you haul the poor thing off and dump it. The genius here is they find one of these bone yards and a lightbulb goes off and hey presto free cover slabs:D:thumbsup: Come up with a catchy name and marketing plan and that it actually looks nice and unique is icing on the cake. I think it was a good idea from a business point of view, but that it also produced a desirable and attractive product took skill and artistry as well.
