Can the current Military be sent in and have a choil added?

I've always loved the notched choil on the older Military and was wondering if one could be sent in for a fee and have a choil machined in the newer Military.

Go to the other Spyderco Forum (at spyderco.com) and look for Ron (SC_Rebel). He does all sort of custom work to Spydies.
 
I really think you would be better off trying to find an old one rather than grinding / machining you newer model. Cheers, Vince.
