Hey all, I heard about the new knife the goliath through the tactical knife magazine and was wondering if anyone has one and what they think of it? How do you like the handle, what kind of edge does it hold? and so on. Thanks

Gunner,
The Goliath (model 446) has been out for 3 or perhaps 4 years. It has a thermoplastic
handle, a 4" clip blade that is 1 1/4" wide.
This is a big folding knife but lightweight
due to the handle material. The knife weighs
5 oz., is 5 1/4" closed and opens to 9 1/4".
The Goliath also has a conventional Buck
lockback and comes with a black cordura sheath. I have not used the knife as it is
bigger than I need. See the Buck web site
for a picture. I believe the blade is 420HC.

I have one and use it around the garage and the yard, it's my abuse it and not worry about it knife. I have been pleased at how it's performed and held up, well worth the cost. I don't have any trouble getting a good edge on it (came sharp too), but it is one big folder, NOT a pocketknife !

I have sold several goliath's to New Mexico Elk hunters,no complaints from any of them
