Can the Kershaw Scallion be de-assisted?

Didn't pull mine apart to confirm for sure, but looking through the narrow space between the blade and the liner lock, it does not appear to have a detent hole drilled in it. That's for the liner lock version at least.

There is another "hack" you can do on the Scallion though. It turns out the pocket clip hole spacing is the same as on the newer style deep carry clips (like those on the Cryo, Thermite, Knockout, and several others). So, with pretty minimal effort, you can make your Scallion a deep carry knife.

Here's mine with the clip from my Thermite.

The Thermite clip is actually the right size for a knife like the Scallion. The Thermite is one of my favorite knives but the clip if HORRIBLE, it should be about 30% bigger for a knife that size, I just took mine off entirely.
