Greetings from Singapore, everyone.
I bought a 7" Ka-bar recently to attach to my LBV for training exercises in Brunei in 2 months time, but the kydex sheath that came with it sucks for me because I have to use paracord to attach it to my molle, and even then it's not very secure. The Singapore Armed Forces does not issue a standard combat blade (apart from the antiquated M7 bayonet, which is useless for bushcraft), so for me, a dedicated field knife like the ka-bar is essential for the kind of exercises I will be doing (jungle survival, recce, etc.).
I came across this while browsing for new molle-compatible sheaths:
http://www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/store_detail.html?s=ON1903
I'd buy the whole OKC3S package, bayonet and all, but unfortunately, Singapore does not allow the import of bayonets (but normal combat knives are allowed; go figure :jerkit
, so it seems I can only buy the sheath.
What I would like to know is whether the OKC3S sheath can fit a Ka-bar?
Pics if you can show me it's possible. Thanks.
