I want to buy model 884SBT because it is blue rather than black.
First I planned on buying it as well as a "real" one and switching handle slabs, but I notice in the pictures for the "utility" and "advocate" models they appear to have rivets rather than screws (like the 882SBTG CMT) so I couldn't do this.
But then I noticed the blade for the blue trainer listed as 420hc, not just some unknown non-functional steel I would expect for an edgeless training knife. So...
Is the 420hc blade on the trainer _hardened_ like a normal blade so it can be sharpened and hold its edge?
OR...
Can the pivot still be unscrewed on the trainer model and would a blade from another model fit?
