Like they say When it rains it pours....
First my computer gets that Da%$%$& Virus.I had to re-do the hard drive twice,Still don't have everything back to running properly.I haven't down loaded the camera system so I can't post any new pictures.
Then trying to get caught up in the shop during our recent heat wave,I had the old fuse box in the shop decide to burn up on me.This was while I was making Damascus. And before that happened the fan in the smothy burns itself up.
The air conditioner in the house also went out for a week before they got it fixed (now that the weather has cooled off)
Got a heavier wire run to the shop now but can't get someone to help with some new wiring so I can get my work done so I am just getting farther behind.I was given some insulation for the ceiling of the shop and now there is no time to put it up....
My sone has been here to visit me and I hadn't seen him in 11 years due to conflicts with his mother, then things happened so he was delayed going home and his mom isn't happy...
My orders have slowed down anyway and now I have the bill collecters on my butt....And the phone conatantly rings when I do get to work,How the heck do they think you can earn money to pay them when they keep you on the phone everyday, even when you make arrangements with them they still call the next day to try for more money,Geesh....
I can finally find some time to get back on the forums and talk some, but I still need to update my web-site and add a couple of knives that nobody has even seen yet,but first I need to get the computer back up to snuff.....
Heck what could possiably happen next????

Sorry about venting here guys,I just had to get it off my chest and let everyone know that i wasn't disapering into the wood work ,and I will try to get some pictures up soon...Baring no more un-forseen problems....

Bruce, The wife and Kids Ok?

I always find it helpful to go through the "list" at the top of my voice. Seems to have a calming effect on me, can't say the same for the neighbors though :D

What better place to vent then among friends.

I'll be praying for you Bro.

Hey bud.
Take all those problems. Prioritize them, then divide them, then beat them one by one.
Hang in there Bruce.:)

Your experiences sound vaguely familiar. Hang in there until things turn around. I hope sooner rather then later. Wishing you good fortune!!!

Thanks guys.I know that this could all sound like a bunch of BS but it is really the truth.I usually just go to the shop and beat on steel and talk to my Dog who was my constant shop companion but he got sick and died a few weeks ago. That wasn't much fun either.
I know things have got to turn around and I also hope that it is sooner than later.
I guess that you have to go through the ruff times to find the joy of the good times. And things had been going really great for to long not to have something happen, but I didn't expext it all to happen at once!...
Again thanks for letting me vent, and hope to get it all back on track soon.:)
Bruce

I know this probably doesnt mean much, but you gotta go through the bad stuff in order to appreciate the good stuff. Hang in there.

Hang in there, Bruce! You got friends pulling for you! :)

(And I thought I was having a "bad hair day" yesterday! )

I am hearing what you are saying, seems like when one thing goes bad
everything goes. one step forword and to steps back.Give it to the lord and let him take care of it,after all he feeds the fowls of the air and he loves us more than them.Hang in there it will get better.
;)

Whenever I have a lot to trials...I always askthe Lord, "why me Lord?" and the answer always seems to be "Why not you!! :("
Like Winston Churchill said: "Never give up"
Giving up is not an option when everything is running smoothly!! :)

Hang in there man. been ther done that.
The way I see it you have only one way
to go that`s UP :D Just remember no
matter how things are someone else has
it worse.

Hang in there buddy.
As long as the family is OK, don't worry. Those phone callin' bill collecters are just doin' their job too.
As my 92 year young Pop sez..."Better days are coming."

Lots of good advice Bruce. Enter my most used advice for friends..."No worries, it all works out."

Just keep your head up...you can't lose if you fight with all you've got ;)

Man this is getting dramatic in here :p

Really Bruce, it'll all work out just fine. Hey read my signature...it fits here.

Nick

Your dog died too??? Damn, man, things have got to get better soon Bruce. Hang in there, we're all slugging for ya!

sounds to me like you've got noplace to go but up

hang in there, your star will be rising soon.

you need to get an answering machine so you don' have to answer the phone while you are working. you can ignore people who want to wast your time and get some work done and not miss any calls.

Sorry to hear of all the troubles but when your dog dies That Hurts. It kinda reminds me of a country western song. Why dont you have a few beers and write one. It would hit the charts. Bruce B

Thanks everybody....
I know that the sun is out there somewhere and one of these days the sun will break through.
When things were tight before I would always tell my wife to just fasten her seat belt and hang on,we will hit the end of this ride soon....But this time it just seems like it keeps hitting every time I think I am getting ahead...
But that will be ok as when things start turning around it will make it all that much sweeter...
NO I am not giving up.I am to much of a fighter than that. This is just going to make me fight harder and I will come out stronger and wiser than I was before...
Again THANKS for all the kind words everybody.
Bruce

i hear you bruce. due to health problems at 37 when i started knife making i did'nt even own a car anymore.things have gotten a lot better. but it has'nt been a straight line up!. what does'nt kill you you makes you stronger!

Bruce all the good you've done for everyone else is on its way back around, just hang tight, man.

Dave

Suggestion:
After whatever mourning period you deem appropriate, go to the dog pound and find a new puppy.....I'll just bet that as you develop a new friendship with a new companion animal, your problems will lift like the morning mist.
Best wishes.....

Bruce,
You have it the perfect makings of a Country song:D

Hang in there Bud this too will pass.

If we can help let us know how we are always there for ya!
