Can this blade be saved?

Back when I first started sharpening my knives..... I did not know what I was doing. I had a KME system and I had this really cool knife made by Theuns Prinsloo from South Africa. I think the heel was thicker and maybe with a recurve. And I was sharpening till I got a burr without regard to the bevel shape. So I have these large bevels and they look bad to me.

This particular blade has an nice subtle hamon on it.

So is there any way to fix a mistake like this?

Looks fine to me. If the steel is thicker there it's just gonna' have a wide bevel to it. Can't really make it narrower again once it's gone, but you'll get used to it.

Hi,
Thats a bug.
It used to be only logged in users ,
even non paying,
could see bladeforums uploaded pictures,
they just had to log in to see then,
not logged in couldn't see them.

I can see the picture if I log out :)

Like Bucketstove says, you can log off and see them.
Didn't know that, thanks Bucket.

As for the knife, assuming the edge angle is consistent and the primary grind isn't, you can even up the primary.

Although that one is worse than most, I've never encountered a blade with perfect grinds.
