Hey Uncle Bill, will we be able to buy knives from you at the Convention? Plus, if people want to traid with each other is that okay too? Not sure if this had been addressed earlier so I though I would bring it up. Have a good evening.

My heart rate just elevated from seeing all those khukuris again:eek:. Maybe I should not bring my wife with me:D
 
If I'm not mistaken there appears to be a Special Tarwar sitting in that box just in front and to the right of the Chaplain. ;)
 
You can do anything you want that won't get us tossed into jail At conventions we offer special prices because our stellar shipping department doesn't have to do anything. I'm going to try to get Pala & staff to make some sort of conventin special. We'll have deals galore that will pale the PGAs and UBBOTDs, don't worry.

And if you want the Chaplain to give a special blessing to you and your new khukuri so things will work out as they did with Capt. Paul he'll do it for anything from a penny up. He won't give you a license to kill, though, for any price.
 
I think the picture was just of the "special" pile. The blem box must be in the tractor trailer out back. :eek: :D

I got a BAS through airport screening on Jan 3rd, but the bag was never actually opened. (YES, IT WAS CHECKED BAGGAGE!!!)

You should be able fly with K's (guns too) in checked baggage, but that doesn't mean something won't "grow legs". Theft of items from checked baggage has been a problem before, and as far as I know they haven't addressed any sort of policy for theft claims in the new laws. Hopefully, the security background checks that everyone's supposed to go through will have weeded out the convicted felons.

Note, that I flew out of Detroit, which has it's checked-baggage screening right behind the ticketing counter, in full view. I watched my bag like a hawk until it was done going through.


P.S. - ICS - if you're going by plane, or not going to the convention at all, I'd be glad to bring something back for you.

DEP Reno 7PM Sun 7PM, ARR Albuq 12;15 AM Mon Mar 24.
Hoping my sister will take Fri and Mon off from work to relieve me.

I have one other option, but haven't worked on it too hard , while waiting for my sisters reply.

I really want to go to the convention and meet everyone. I would really enjoy it. Wouldn't have too much to say, but sure would be observing and learning. :)

One of the things I would like to be able to see at the convention, is a shoulder rig set up, among many other things. Anyone, attending have one they might bring along?

Anyone have a pic of a rig?
